My Newest Deals....

This week I was able to come across some really great deals.  The scrubbing bubbles One Step no touch cleaning system is a new product that is out.  Wal Mart usually carries it for $9.47.  This week in their add, they advertised it for $3.97!!  I had two coupons that I had printed out that were worth $4.00 off.  So I purchased two for a profit of $0.06!! I can't wait to try them out!  This weeks paper had sever buy one, get one free coupons of many of the products we really enjoy!  I was able to get hairspray, two shampoos, lotion, and kid's shampoo for free!!  Wal Mart is again carrying Libby vegetables and fruits, which is my prefferd brand.  I had a coupon for buy 2, get one free...Wal Mart also had them on sale for $0.75 a can, which was also a super deal!!!  I also managed to score a free Crest Dual mouthwash!!  In the mail this week I received $14 worth of coupons towards Febreeze products and a sample and coupon for IcyHot.

This week my trip to Hobby Lobby also found me coming home with some great deals!!  I found a beautiful scrapbook originally priced $24.99 on sale for $5.39!!  I was actually eyeing this exact scrapbook a few weeks ago, but passed because I didn't want to spend the money.  I also found some cute Halloween stickers marked down to $1.43 from $3.99 and two sets of carnival stickers marked down to $0.42 from $1.99!!!  Everyone knows how much I LOVE my scrapbooking supplies, especially when I get them at such a bargain!!!

This week I also received one of my free issues of Working Mother Magazine!!  I have yet to find the time to sit down and read it, but it is on my priority list for this week!  I am very excited to see what advice they offer and what the magazine will contain!!

Samples and deals from this last week...

I am so stinking excited about one of my deals I accidentally came across this last week!!  While looking around the clearance aisle at Wal Mart I came across KinderMats marked down to $1!!!!  They are originally $7.97....such a good deal, I picked up two!  One for Tru to take to Kindergarten next year, and one to use in my classroom for activities or for Tru to play with in his room.  I didn't believe the clearance sign, do I hunted down one of those price scanners, and sure enough, it really was $1!  Yall might want to check out Wal Mart to see if they have any left!!  Last week I also got our Disney World trip planner in!  Tru is so ready to watch the dvd so we can figure out what parks we want to visit and plan out our trip!  I got some great samples in the mail, but I have to admit, the one I am most excited about is the StriVectin Tightening Neck Cream!!!  Goodness, I could use it!!!  haha!!!

Two More Deals for the Week...

 Ok, so I assumed that my deals and samples were done for the week when I posted yesterday, but you know what they say when you assume......hehehe!!  Today I got in my Crest Complete toothpaste and mouthwash in plus good coupons.  I love these kind of samples because they are perfect for when I travel!  I also am  REALLY excited about the other deal I got in the mail today!!!  My dad's birthday gift came in!!  So dad....this is where you stop reading!!  HAHA!!!  When shopping at Target the other week, at checkout I received a coupon with my receipt for a free 8X8 hardcover photo book from shutterfly.com!  The books usually run $29.99, but I only had to pay the $9 shipping fee!  The book also came with a coupon for 10% off my next purchase.  So, I went onto shutterfly.com, uploaded all the pictures that I wanted put in the book, played around and got the layout I wanted, and then ordered the book.  That easy!!  When you join for the first time you also get several photo prints for free!!  You can choose to have them delivered to your home (and just pay the shipping & handling) or you can choose to pick them up at Target.  The book is sooo nice, much nicer than I expected!!  All I am going to do now is use some of my scrapbooking goodies and give it my little touch.  The perfect gift for my dad...and a great deal that this single mom needed!!!

Samples and Freebies from the Last Two Weeks...

Last week I got my Suave samples with coupons, and my Splenda samples with coupons also came in.  The three Suave samples that came in are for their men's bodywash, their dry shampoo spray, and their sweet pea and violet lotion.  I was super excited about about the dry shampoo spray because I have really been wanting to try it and see how it works.  The Splenda that came in is for the new Splenda essentials with antioxidants.  I only use Splenda at my house, so I am really excited for this. 

This week in the mail I got Poise samples (which I requested for my Oma), Enfamil samples and coupons (which I requested for my sister Hillary), and a milk coupon which is good for $1 off any half gallon or gallon of milk.  You rarely get milk coupons, so I was super excited for that.  I am obsessed with Cascade Complete Action Pacs!!  They can be pricey, but with some patience and some hard work, you can get them for free like I did!  A bag of 16 usually runs about $4 and up depending where you shop.  Some stores now carry the trial size bags.  Through P&G I received booklets of coupons including Action Pac coupons for $0.50 off. Right now Price Cutters has the regular Action Pacs on sale for $1 for a pack of 4.  I had three $0.50 coupons saved up, which Price Cutters doubles, so that made them free!!  Then Target had the Complete Action Pacs on sale for $0.97 for a pack of 3.  I had saved up 3 $1.00 coupons on Cascade Complete Action Pacs from the newspaper several weeks ago.  So, I bought three bags and actually made $0.09 off the deal!!  HAHA!!  So that brought my grand total of 21 Action Pacs for a profit of $0.09!!  Not bad!!! 

Disney Here We Come!!!

So Truett has decided that we need to go visit Mickey's House (Disney World).  So we have started our saving.  We took an old tea jug, decorated it, and now that is where we put all our extra change and money. Wish us luck!!!!  I have faith that we will be able to save more than enough to make it to Mickey's House!!!!
